La scorsa settimana le precipitazioni sono state molto abbondanti, purtroppo il limite delle nevicate è salito fino quasi a 2000 metri con venti moderati da sud; durante le precipitazioni e nei giorni seguenti, l’attività valanghiva spontanea è stata molto frequente e su molti pendii ripidi si possono osservare distacchi anche di medie e grandi dimensioni, con il passare dei giorni le condizioni per lo scialpinismo sono migliorate anche se sono presenti accumuli da vento e in alcune zone uno strato di brina di fondo per cui è bene prestare molta attenzione.

New snow

Last week snowfalls were really strong, unfortunately the limit of the snowfalls rose up almost to 2000 meters, with moderate winds from the south. During the event end in the days after there were frequent spontaneous avalanches also with big dimensions. After a couple of days, conditions for free riding and skitouring improved but still are present wicked layer with hoar in the middle and at the base of the snow cover, hence it’s really important to be really careful.
